Excellent post, Azur. I rather enjoy the comparison of Carter and Clooney,
two men making the freedom of expression so much clearer for today's audiences.

Hemlocker, yes he does have a gift. It is rare. As for Brokeback Mountain
I believe it is a beautiful film and I can't wait to see it

By the way, May--
I noticed it's almost Christmas/"holiday" time.  You are definitely at the top of the list of my favorites here, and I want to wish you and yours a most enjoyable holiday and good luck, productivity and prosperity in the new year.

Perhaps everything and everybody is connected in some way.  That's an amazing gift your housemate has.  It's hard for me even to visualize that.  I have not seen Good Night and Good Luck yet, and might not, as theater movies are expensive and our "entertainment budget" is limited.  We did see Brokeback Mountain last night, a strangely beautiful raw and ugly rough and loving film I'm going to try to write about in my next post--but it will be difficult.  I'm not sure I can do it.  Thanks.

As usual you have a unique way of attaching some one to your posts. Furthermore, the topics handled also makes one develop an interest in the subject you have treated. It was the case with George Clooney and the movies in took part in. Above the reading of your post this morning which was facinating in its appeals, I am also writing to wish you an exceptional Christmas. You have been an exceptional support of me over here, for your comments are not only honest, they gave me a desire to improve in providing details  to my posts here and elsewhere.  I am at times passionate, motivated by some expiriences, but because of you I have learn that, your expiriences should not stand as a cloak in what I desire to do. For all that, I wish to thank you and God Bless.

Smartdog, thank you for reading.
Yes I don't think I was saying anything deeper than that.  Both of these things struck me as beinbg of integrity

I like the premise behind your artistic veil of words here; which is, I believe, to exemplify and aspire to whatever quality or belief you have, and do it honestly.

Nice work.
