I think we meet the right people at this time of year. Some we know, some we don't. That's the magic of the season.

As the Carol
suggests: give your heart. Judging by your posts and comments to me, you have a big enough heart to go a very long way. Merry Christmas

Is there really such a person

who has everything? No... I don't think so. Because coffee with a friend on a random Sunday afternoon is not something we can hide away in a drawer and pull out only when we need it. That is something that only you can give and only he or she can have when given by you.

Merry Christmas!

MayB, I don't know the answer.  But, I always hope that they know how much I care.

In my experience, it truly is the thought, not the symbol that matters

for those who "have it all." Reminds me of a wealthy business owner I know. He is delighted to receive Christmas cards via the postal system, delivered to his home. Very few of his friends or employees mail them; they bring in gifts to him at the workplace and he feels that has become a game of rivalry and ego.

Happy Holidays May.
