Hi jecruz,
thanks for your comment! Shall we shake hands? I don't believe we've chatted before.

This got to me too
I was very upset with the new terminology of HOLY day as well. Thank God a lot of companies are respecting our view!

JanesOpinion,
I don't get riled up over the Christmas tree issue, after all, it was a pagan symbol to begin with. It started as a tree set on fire in Germany to bring the sun back, presided over by pagan priests, and ultimately adapted by the church.
I do believe in Christ's sacrifice and his holy, loving spirt, which is ultimately what I celebrate, as I am so newly converted just two years ago. I do believe that Christ would not want us to get wound up over the outward forms and rituals, and become like the Phariseees who had the outward form of rituals and godliness, but forgetting charity and love. Merry Christmas from your sister in Christ.

Interesting post indeed! Like you I have been outraged over the small minority trying to change Christmas. Yesterday I watched a show on Discovery or the History channel (doesn't matter). Anyway I took comfort in knowing that despite all the uproar, we still set our dates, and our watches by the time of our Lord Jesus's death...so on this day of the blessed night.. December 24, 2005 AD, I wish you a Very Merry Christmas!
