Frankenkitty, yes I'd forgotten that about ladybugs

I have won things before. I once won a windsurfer and so started my involvement in that sport for several years. This is the first time my partner has won a thing so it is a breakthrough for him

That's awesome! I can't say

I've ever won anything worth as much as a diamond, but, I know how you feel about your luck changing. I was overcome with the same feeling when I noticed a ladybug crawling around my husband's art studio light. What's unusual is that there are not usually ladybugs at this time of year and it's very cold outside. Lady bugs are supposed to be good luck. Well, I hope the New Year is very fruitful and prosperous for you and your love. Take care

You do have to be open for luck to change.

It's a hard thing to do for me, getting excited about things finally going my way. You don't want to be set up to get hurt if they don't, but you'll block out a lot of the good energy if you don't open up and miss it. I'm in that position now, and trying to be open.
