Not sure about more sophisticated though. I think sophisticated and simple are words used too often by social climbers who wish to plant their own self portraits as flags at the summits of their lacking egos. If you had fun then that's all that matters!!

We ate Ding Dongs and drank non-alcoholic sparkling grape
juice. Family tradition. Don't ask how it started... Yours sounds much more sophisticated...lol
