Very appealing story.  I liked this a lot.  Your love for your great aunt is clear.  I don't recall the white bells and red tubs tops, but the picture I'm getting from your story is a very likeable one...~   And I'll bet that Wild Mouse is the same thing as what we had here, called the Mad Mouse.   I used to love that when I was a kid.  Never did it again till a few years ago, when I joined my young nephew on the Mad Mouse for a lark and nearly threw my back out... of course, he loved it.  I told him, talk to me in 30 years....
