You are so right, joleen, about the waking of the baby-boomers. That is

one helluva voting bloc if they ever get focused.  The problem with baby-boomers is, and I generalize here, there are too many of them suffering from the backlash of their free-spirited earlier lives, feeling guilty, and overcompensating.  The result is a push toward a puritanical past that never existed, and, hopefully, never will.  Waking up before the nightmare begins would be a good thing about now.

thank you for your blog and the many links to more
I'm new in this community and am very pleased to see others who are of my general wavelength concerning issues of day as well as the takeover of our beloved country by ones not held accountable for their many acts of reversing laws in place that were put there for our protection (like clean air and water). This administrations double-speak should wake up the baby boomers (my generation) if no other generation. I could go on and on because I'm watching C-Span all day today with the pre-hearing remarks for Samuel Alito's bid for SCAJ. Peace, j.

Thank you, mellyn. It is a hard pill to swallow, this corporate whore as
president for another three years, but I, for one, will not take it without a fight.  This nation  needs some ipecac.  And if I have some small part in a grass roots movement that gets that sanctimonious ass impeached, then I will be one proud American.

BLACK HAWK DOWN

You know Saul, I took a long break ,  just peaking  at the news every other day.  I became so depressed with what's going on, the talking about, blogging, and nothing being done.  I have done what I know how.   I just wish there was a strong movement nonstop until they brought our young men home.

I am sick of it.  My spirit hurts.  Don't get my words wrong.  Have any ideas.

The moment this man won a second term, I knew there was trouble.

I leave you His Peace,

mellyn
