Ariel70,
I have found that illness is a great equalizer: political, class, racial separations become inconsequential in the face of grave crisis and illness. I have had periods, thankfully brief, when I wondered if I'd lost my facility for words, and thanks be to God, I can write, read, and remember favorite phrases and words and play a presentable game of Scrabble. Which, if I were in Andalusia, I would challenege you to a game, because I think it does a world of good in maintiining verbal abilities.
I do believe your courtly Victorian phrasing is contagious! But, I am very happy to see that not only are you back to blogging with your usual elan, but your verbal capacities are quite intact!

I always offer to help people I hate... It eases my conscience...lol
Seriously...
We may all be separated by continents and computer screens, but our words unite us. It sounds corny, but I do believe it. Despite the anonymity of blogging across this void we call the internet, what we write--what we share--often goes much deeper than what our best friends and closest family members will ever know about us.
I think that's why, when one of our bloggers is hurt, we all rally. Despite our differences, we all know that the feelings, observances, and rantings that we've shared are sacred--that we are lucky to have witnessed them.
Personally, I've always found your posts informative on both a literal and emotional level. You are a truly gifted person with the morals and attitude superior to many of the "real" people I've met.
I'm glad you came out okay. Truly glad.
