I would try...
to carry out their last wishes...but if it was as crazy as this, I wouldn't definitely recommend they get a second opinion.

I just read it...wouldn't you know it happened in Ohio...I think that the care taker really was trying to fulfill the wishes of the lady who died. However to continue to live in the house is a "tad" out there!! Thanks for the link!!!

If it's completely nuts and you're going to get yourself in trouble...no! After the person is gone they won't care anyway. I did things for my grandfather while he was alive that went against the common wisdom because he wanted them that way. And I took heat for it from some of his stepfamily. But he wanted some of his written musings read at his funeral which we didn't do because it was impractical.

I haven't seen that story, but it seems like a wicked last request. I think as far as trying to fulfill some ones  last wishes, I would try. Then again your talking to someone who still hs her Dad in her closet. Thank God he didn't want anything like that!! I spread a little of him here and there like he asked. I guess I just don't understand anyone who would want to be propped up in front of a television...must have been  a soap opera addict or loved the game shows! I have to check that article out!

Yeah, something like that...
is pretty extreme. I wonder if the caregiver tried to talk her out of it.

I wouldn't go as far as that.
Though I might agree just to keep them happy while they were alive.

I saw this story too. It is bizarre. I can't imagine asking this of anyone!
