Thanks Taps for your good wishes, but sadly --

my temp is still 99.8 and I'm coughing like there's no tomorrow. I've taken a day off work and can't even enjoy it because all I feel like doing is lounging about. Can only do so much computer work because my eyes hurt . . . blah, blah, blah.

My sister brought some wonderful, restorative chicken soup so I'm thinking I will be better in short order!

have to say reading that has put me off breakfast a tad...however i salute you for doing a job which must be so hard and taking descisons that most people would not want to have to take. The LPN does indeed need a shot of sensitivity.

JanesOpinion, I'm sorry you are under the weather. (I never did understand what "under the weather" had to do with being sick.) You know, I have not had one cold or flu or sinus infection since I stopped working, completely stopped, at the health care center. Those places are just full of germs I'm a thinking.

Almost everyone I know has or is just getting over a cold

or the flu. Just watch that smart aleck LPN will have it next week.

That would be helpful.

I've had other issues with her, and think there's a degree of jealousy going on, which I have tried to be sensitive to.
