My dear Justsouno, you are totally 100% correct!
There are good bacteria and not so good bacteria (or, as some might say, too many good bacteria in the wrong place) and there is a concern that the antibacterial soaps can kill off the good bacterias, creating more drug resistance bacteria. And heaven knows we've already got plenty of those!
Your young brain is a-thinkin' lady!

If we didn't have the bacteria on us we would be in a bubble
Don't we need the bacteria to fight 'bad' bacteria. I don't use the anti-bacterial soaps. I think this is a bit like g i track isn't it. We have been provided with bacteria that do their jobs and fight off those that are harmful? I know this sounds stupid, but is there some such stuff? LOL

I agree, Justsouno.
Let's see, where did the bones go? Well, for one thing, the skull starts out with multiple bones (to squeeze through the birth canal) but by age three or so they are completely fused together.

Yeah Whacky,
and one wonders who took the time to count all of these? Some desperately poor med student?

babe_rocks -- most are friendly bacteria. We'd be dead without them!
It's when you get an overgrowth of a particular bacteria that you have problems. For example, some people are prone to boils, which is usually a staph infection. Staphylococcus normally is rampant on our skin but in some people it becomes an overgrowth and they develop infections.
Good question.

Passionflower, frightening, eh?
Frankly, I'm not sure where to begin . . . . . I'm thinking a bleach bath might cause just a little dry skin, not to mention the fumes. So, I guess we will have to just share the territory with the rest of the resident bacteria.
