thank you. I started a new blog just to chronicle their nest activities and new chicks- it's going to be exciting around here- blog is called "Hawk's Nest" and I'll update it daily. Can't wait for the chicks to hatch!

Wow! Amazing specimen!
You guys are lucky to have them around...It's springtime here too - I usually have barn swallows trying to nest on the back porch.
They're very lovely but make a terrible mess.

Nanaroo--- That's terrilfic. They're usually not so sociable with humans.
Just remember that they like to eat small, fuzzy animals of all kinds, so you'd better keep the kitties inside. I share my property with screech owls. They are cute little guys, but, at night, yeeouch! They sound like babies crying.
