I guess I'll have to eat nuts more often then.

Okay, I fixed that one line (finally)...
I suppose this is why people should only post when they're conscious. At any rate, it now reads:
Contrary to popular belief, recent studies have revealed that in America, men actually eat more nuts than women do.

Oh, wait!
Your question was about cracking nuts! My fault!
I've heard you are supposed to put a tiny crack in each walnut and then heat them up in an oven.

I myself have always liked butter nuts...
I have heard that all varieties of Emerald Nuts' premium snack nuts are really delicious ... but, unfortunately I can't verify this,
seeing as they do not seem to be sold in my area.

In The Miniority I Guess
I love nuts. My favorites are pecans, walnuts, and almonds. I especially like to sit and crack them myself. I don't like them already shelled. I want to do that myself. It reminds me of when I was growing up. We did a lot of during family time together. I guess I'm in the minority. Someone gave me some Black Walnuts recently. I haven't been able to crack them yet. Someone told me I needed to use a hammer. Any other suggestions?

Thank you, B...
although, so far ... no good.
I only actually saw one of their commercials (during the game), though. It was choppy and made little sense to me.
The only positive is, it does appear they are returning to the "Envious Nomads, Entangled Nine-year-olds, etc." theme.

Very funny, malcolm...
obviously, I meant "more men eat nuts than women do".
I actually realized that that sentence might confuse some people after the fact ... but, I was too lazy to edit it.

I believe it is more or less just a "generic insult", Nanaroo...
(mostly pertaining to intelligence), in much the same that "rube" once referred to being lefthanded, but now is only commonly used when describing a person who is either naive, uncultured or just a plain "nitwit".

More men eat nuts than women?
I always thought that women were a little too tough.

Oh and, "goober" is still used in the south...
though it's no longer (usually) in reference to a peanut.

My goal is/was not necessarily compensation, Jack ...
In fact, I was a little apprehensive about sending in my suggestions for fear of dissuading them from making any more of that type of commercial altogether (to avoid any "accusations").
I'm sure if they use my ideas, I'll get something in return (seeing as I have proof of a correspondence). But, I mean, it's not like I came up with the campaign. All I did was expand on the idea, a little.

MPO,
If I'm not mistaken, goobers is a word still used in parts of the South.
Watch for your ideas in the nut spots. It isn't uncommon for people to get ripped off for ideas by Mad Ave. If it isn't a totally blatant ripoff, you can easily get screwed. I had it happen to me once, but I couldn't be absolutely certain of how it happened and I never could have proved anything in court. There are some ways to protect yourself that you may already know about.

MPO - I just finished a game of trivial pursuit, genus IV: Blue Diamond is
famous for almonds if you ever get that question. Are you into copywriting? I just read a book about and am planning on starting my own business.

I was at the Academy of Natural Sciences one time...
And the guide had some ancient artifacts in his "bag", so he turns to the group and says:
"Hey kids! Wanna feel my spear?!"

i watched a high school play
i watched a high school play once, don't remember what play, i was quite young. the only thing that stuck with me was this one character who, every time he was introduced would say, "hello, i'm from brazil where the nuts come from." it's one of my favorite sayings.
