to hear your heartwrenching story. I started reading because I too had a been misdiagnosed recently. I fell desperately ill about two weeks ago with symptom similar to your Dad's. I went to a clinic and was told I had a "stomache flu" and given antacids. I continued to worsen after three days and went to a different doctor who told me that I might have "pancreatic disease." Then, still becoming progressively worse, I went to a hospital and learned that I had "acute food poisoning" that could have been alleviated immediately with Cipro, antinausea medication, and Imodium. After three days of that regimen, I immediately recovered. I feel so much for your family and what you all went through. I pray you heal from this turmoil with time.

I hope others can learn something through the way we lost Dad. I want people to learn to question and think for themselves, and to realize that the same thing CAN happen to them.
