Um, okay...

So why aren't we using thermodepolymerization more widespread, now?

MPO...
Yeah, I can see where the hamsters would be a problem.  However, there is a process called (and I am using this in a sentence), thermodepolymerization that takes care of those kinds of things, Google it and  check it out, then ask why we aren't using it more widespread now.

That can get annoying though...

Hey, a dictionary pops up on my Mac when I select a word. Gotta love it!

And here, I thought you were supposed to be smart...
"click and drag", nimrod.  Oh, never mind, just read this:

floccinaucinihilipilification (noun)

definition: The act of estimating something as worthless

used in a sentence: "I was flabbergasted by her flippant floccinaucinihilipilification of his feelings!"

I clicked under flaucinaucinihilipilification and all I got was a menu.
Wha's up wi dat?

I have no clue. I guess they'd load it into huge buckets...
then fly it over in jets and, like, just dump it on the third world people's heads.  Or, something.

From Bunny
~ Did you know the annual amount of water literally "flushed down the toilet" in the U.S. could relieve third world drought in less than a week?

But how would be get it to them?

What?

Oh, that's something else people need to know about their toilet ... I get it.

Something else people (hopefully) "need to know" coming up in like 15 minutes.  Not about their toilet though ... that's already been covered.

They move when the adhesive plaster/ cement or whatever gets worn away. Lol.

It seems to me, brettnik, that the "nausea" factor...
should outweigh any conservation concerns.

One time, I had accidentally ruined my mother's blouse...
and, so as not to risk her finding it in the trash, I cut it up into little pieces and flushed it down.

That's a little more information than I needed to know, Captain...
I did ask, though ... of course, that was more of a "rhetorical question".

clearification
over the course of several months...for each book.  Not over the course of several months for all of them.  Sometimes, in the case of larger books it might take me quite awhile.

Yes, beginning to end

MPO:

Yes, from beginning to end. Read a page, dog ear it. Come back later that day for round 2. Read two more pages. Dog ear it. Late that night with nothing much to do I may scan 5 or 6 pages before I dog ear the book and go to bed. Through this method I have made it through the below list of novels cover to cover over the course of several months.

I believe it...
In Texas I taught a curriculum about water conservation to save the aquifer, and we had to teach the kids this song:  "If it's yellow, stay mellow.  If it's brown, flush it down."

Congrats on your win.

It never ceases to amaze me what people attempt to flush down.

Not from beginning to end,
all in one sitting, though ... I hope.

Lord of the Rings, the Fellowship of the Ring, Star Wars Heir to the Empire, First Man In Rome, Interview With the Vampire, the compleate Dark Elf Triology, Vampire Lastat, Caesar, Game of Thrones (twice) Dune, Red Storm Rising,  Thats about all I can think of for now, but I"m sure there are others.  Besides...give me time...I'm still young!

Thank you, nanaroo...
Though, I was actually most surprised to learn how much time people waste via spending on the toilet.  If only people could become more "efficient" somehow.

whiplash, I've had occasion to flush a few dead animals myself...
(my preferred term: "burial at sea"), but fortunately, they all went down smoothly.
