and it was appropriate

for MLK himself was anopponent of Vietnam War

He probably would h ave joined in.

Atigam, you are right, and despite the low blows, the funeral
did lift up Dr. and Mrs. King and the Civil Rights movement Go to REVISITING HISTORY, INSTEAD OF REVISING IT!

I have never known a politician

that passed on a good photo op. It's unfortunate that the funeral of Coretta Scott King was tarnished somewhat by their rhetoric but, if any good came of it, it reminded people of her and her husband's immense contributions to the world, that it drew those politicians out, regardless of their motives.

Good to see a new blogger, like myself, Mountainclimber - especially one so clearly passionate.
