- Go to When Your Dreams Are Realized IN PRINT
Congratulations Azur!
How satisfying and fulfilling it is to see your own work in printed media. I haven't felt this ecstasy anymore since I said goodbye to my student days.
In Hong Kong, the open columns of most newspapers are only open to students. That's after I left school, I have never contributed anything to the papers because there's just no column for me to write to. Isn't this sad?
My dream is to publish a best-selling book (most probably in Chinese) of short stories. This dream is still remote because I haven't started on this project yet.

When I was a child I had an inspiritational old teacher who taught me about serendipity. I believe. Just lately good opportunities have come after something of a dearth.

I am nothing if not persistent which can take it out of you. I Ibelieve that is a big part of having work published. There are always others who could have written the same story or done it better but didn't follow it through. I often see others who follow through where I don't

Wo! Way to go!
The fizz will dissipate. You'll do just as well on the big project as you did on this one, because you are a good writer and you have a professional attitude. And you will learn about serendipity. Things will fall your way.

we are pretty fizzled here too. Emily is sick and may have an ear infection, Rachel has a cough, and I'm just plain unwell... however I am very pleased that you are happy with your feature and will have a chance to rest before swinging into your next project!
