Hi, It is amazing what you find on the
net. I stumbled across the Guttenberg Index and found a number of books by H Rider Haggard that are now out of print that I could download free. Just google Guttenberg Index and check oit out if you get a chance. They reprint books where the copyright has expired so they're mostly old. I've never been to a ghost town, I don't think we really have any here. Any disused buildings would soon disappear because people would salvage building materials.

Hi Whacky,
When my husband was stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, a lifetime ago, our hobby was traveling the state on the weekends. Cripple Creek, an old gold mining town and home of Linda Goodman, the famous new age writer, was steeped in ghost lore and sitings. I can see why too. The place was right out of the movies. Spooky too. Many more small mining towns tout the same. Glad you found your book. Peace.

I would like to go check one out, have heard a lot about some, but never went. It is funny, I was just thinking about writing a blog about ghosts!

Scary tale. Something must have happened to make people abandon their homes just like that. The way you stand the book up is also spookily good. Lol.
