I do fine with them too- for about three hours- it's just that after that, I get really tired!  I bet you're fun with kids!  TGIF

hahahha... you went home to sleep? The easiest time is when they're
sleeping!!  LOL   I do great with kids... I find that you just have to get down to their level.   Most times, I find them easier to deal with than most adults!

Hey, Nanaroo,

great story and wonderful photos!

I am a dad and, while there are times kids are inconvenient or almost unbearable, those times are heavily outweighed by the wonderful moments with them and how they have kept me grounded.

Sounds like you did fine!

Hi and thanks for visiting!  They really are great kids, the youngest one reads at a high school level and they are all scoring tops on advanced intelligence tests.

A for effort! Next time, you'll stay the night.
Try a glass or two of wine, first.

Just remember -
Kids can smell fear. I always find a little reverse psychology works wonders.

Nanaroo..........That's a great post!   I love the pics.   I don't have any desire to have kids of my own.  Hmmmm, I wonder why?  LOL

Nanaroo...
Yes, for about a year and a half we felt sleep deprived, then just when it started to get better, we decided kid #1 needed a playmate.  Now, 26 years later, I am just starting to catch up on sleep, and oddly enough, they still room together.   BTW, I live in my head as well.

See? You survived. You're stronger than you thought.

And I don't feel so bad about my little post from yesterday where I was griping bec they allowed those children out of school at exactly the same time that I wanted to grocery shop.

People with no kids don't understand how people WITH kids do and furthermore we don't WANT to know how they do it!!!!

We just want them to keep those chil'uns the hell away from us!!!!!
