Thanks! Yeah, people can be a difficult attachment to release from. Each of us will though, in our own time.

Thanks! I had a pretty good collection a few years back that somehow got lost in a move. I wonder about them every now and again. They can be a pretty strong attachment.

Good point. Possessions do connect us. And that is part of the slippery slope of attachments.

Very True
We must be careful of attachments and the negative benefits if it becomes a strong hold! Thought provoking post!!

Sannhet....
Another great post! Our country is based on consumerism and I like everyone else have aquired many possessions. However, I am not attached to them, if they disappeared tomorrow, no problem. My problem with attachments is to people..family and friends. I have lost quite a few friends and family members over the past few years and although I know they are in a better place I am still unable to let go of my grief. That is what I am still working on. Thanks Sannhet!

A very reflective and illuminating post.
As I read the word "define" I thought, How true, and realized that the act of dedining oneself through attachments also confines one's most authentically empowered Self with the same practice. Thought provoking indeed. Thank you.Aberjhani

I am positive my husband needs to read this post.
Very enlightening. A new way to view his "passion" for vinyl records.

great post! After reading this I was thinking of life as up and down a hill, or experience to learn what the source is through experience. If I am alone in the woods I can really tune into nature, yet back in the livings we are to earn, it seems that possessions are also bridges that connect us.
really enjoyed this, thanks.
