Hi Whacky!
They were invented in my home town in Ontario!  My husband has one...not sure how he'd conduct business without one...he gets emails every couple of minutes it seems!  It works everywhere and with him travelling a lot he's always 'on'!  There's a new condition called the Blackberry thumb or sumthin like that as people are getting tendinitis or carpal or some painful condition from their Blackberries.  Blackberries on the bush are the way to go though....scrummy!

Whacky
The new device by Microsoft sounds even more horrific, Whacky, and it looks like an old fashioned game.

Some technology is good
but I think things have gotten out of hand. I even question the real necessity of the cell phone sometimes. The idea of being in touch all the time sure does not appeal to me.

Whacky
I see no reason to have one unless your in business, otherwise your cell phone can do the same thing...it's just a passing fad... and expensive passing fad at that!!

Whacky,
I don't have  a blackberry or an Ipod, and they're probably both the same thing, as far as I know.  I've only had a cell/mobile phone for a year.  Yep, I'm pretty far behind the times, I guess.  Down right rebellious to change, it seems.  :)

Whacky, The hardest part about them is keeping
Your hands off of them when you're supposed to be working! I find mine to be fascinating, consuming, mind-boggling. And I still don't know what I'm doing.

I get lots of calls to service Blackberry's every day at work
I think they are good to have for some of our traveling clients, but half of them don't know what they are doing with them, or how to use them.
