fourcats,
Thanks so much for your kindness.  I really appreciate your comments.  Mom's getting stronger, very slowly.  I have to admit we've a long way to go.

With Rora Bear, I console myself that he had a relatively long, happy life.  He loved Mom and me, and we loved him.  He slipped out peacefully, one week ago tonight.  Somewhere, his spirit lives, free of his diseased body.  Maybe he's even watching us...

May you find peace, too.

brettnik,
Thanks so much for your kindness.  Mom is slowly getting better.  It has been the roughest thing we've been through since Dad's death.  After next week, and getting to the first legal meeting, I'll be able to breathe a bit easier.

honey bunny, that's an awful lot to bear

at one time.  i'm so sorry for all your difficulties.  i have noticed that this seems to be a theme for many, including myself.  car issues, health issues, animals becoming very ill.  it's a testing period for all of us and requires complete faith in faith itself.  we must stand strong, do our best and have faith that our prayers will be answered.

i hope you are able to find peace soon.  i hope your mom is feeling better, wishing you better days.

I am soooo sorry. I hope that things turn around for you soon.
I hate when doctors say it's a virus and they really don't have a clue.  She could have died.  I hope you find some peace this week.  Thank you for visiting my site.

lilane,
We wouldn't be human if our faith didn't get shaky at times.  That's when we have to trust God more than ever.

You'll have to pray more; try to surround yourself with Christian people who believe as you do, regardless of your denomination.  We strengthen each other during difficult times.  If you ever need a friendly Christian ear, e-mail me.  I'm a good listener.  Sometimes I can even help!

God bless!

Thanks, Straightforward
Spring's coming.  Today's the first day Mom had any appetite.  She'll beat this thing with God's help.

lilane,
My heart goes out to you.  Sometimes things get so bad for us humans, we wonder how we'll get through each day.  That's where God and prayer comes in...we couldn't make it without Him.
