Anthony,
I don't know what it is about you, but you always make me smile.
And you're right...if I didn't have so much responsibility in my life, I think I would go to law school! Wow, I bet it would be fascinating!

Age is no excuse luv, I think you'd make a terrific lawyer too so get at it. Heck, I graduated high school at 55 and have one year of university at age 69.So if an old duffer can do it a spry young lovely sure can kiddo.

Thanks, brettnik
We'll see what happens. It may be settled out of court and mediated. That happens frequently in lawsuits.

FrankenKitty,
Thank God you turned out okay. I didn't realize how bad food poisoning is 'til I saw it in Mom.
I'm not sure I can set foot in any restaurant again.
You're right about the big bills! The first ER Mom was in, where she received almost no treatment, has sent a bill for nearly $1000! All she got was one bag of fluid and some blood drawn! We're not even talkin' about the bills from the BIG hospital stay; they haven't started arriving yet.

I contracted food poisoning from
strawberries at a restaurant. My grandmother had medicine that relaxes intestinal cramping because she has colitis, so I didn't need to go to the ER. I never thought of suing them, but had I gone to the hospital and racked up a large bill I surely would have. I hope everything turns out okay for you and your mother. Take care

Thanks, Whacky
We've dealt with this lawyer before, on Dad's case. He's top notch. I'll be all ears with a few questions Monday.
Thanks for the good wishes for Mom. This was one of her "down" days. Tomorrow she'll likely feel a bit better. It's weird; one day she'll feel fair, then the next day somewhat worse. I don't know how it works.

I'll be darned I thought there was a "bigger" problem
with food poisonings than they ever admit to on TV. I'll have to check out that web site. Good luck with your briefs on Monday! Best wishes to your mom!
