I intended it to be humor, but after I posted it doubts set in. I guess it was, after reading a few comments. I'll have to ignore it for a while, then look again to see if it's funny.

whacky,
You don't have to duck. I don't think. I better go read some of your blogs first. And don't be afraid because you name is Whacky. I never let a thing like that influence my poor judgement. I have read you before, but I need to get back over there. As I recall, a lot of your posts are interesting. So many bloggers, so little time. But I remember you, so take heart. You are far from unknown.
And remember, you never get whacked unless you deserve it--or unless I decide you deserve it, which may be unrelated to whether you do.

Angel,
Well, I'm glad I can do that. Thanks for your comment. They always make me feel like I'm doing something besides typing practice. I'll get by your blogs to see how you are doing. I have been getting behind on that the last few days.

Justso,
Thank you for dropping off your helpful comment. And as far as the fertilizer goes, I wouldn't think it should make much difference whether it's horse apples or sheep raisins. Both graze on grass, so what difference the a**? I am sure that either dropping would work equally well. And surely the sheep deposits would be much easier to spread evenly in the Tulip bed. With a little drying, the clustering adhesion quickly disappears.

Well Mr Flash this post is good on both sides. Be blessed.

I thought I would provide a manure maker even if it isn't a horse!

Dave,
I thought those things looked a little too good to have bloomed without some sort of special treatment. I hadn't considered manure, but that could very easily explain why my Tulip Tiptoeing Shoes have been the only ones safe from a good chewing by the dogs.

JJ, you big bad wolf, don't forget that if you tiptoe through the tulips
when they are in full bloom, you may, if you're careful, not crack any stems whatsoever, but you forgot to remember about what's inbetween the stems - all that horse-shit the gardener's been using to make them bloom.
Wear your wellies and leave them on the back step when you go back home.
