Thanks for this. Yes, being content is probably a better goal than being 'happy.' If you can feel the latter, then great, but being just OK is definitely something to aim at I think.

Wow, this reminds that being a kid means making choices, having so many things to choose from, that it must feel overwhelming at times to choose one thing, to the exclusion of others, as well as decide what to let go. It's tough being the parent of a teenager, isn't it?
