Thank God you saw it was a skunk and not a cat
before letting Bo out. Imagine the alternative!!!

Whacky
My first encounter with a skunk almost made me bring my lunch up, Whacky. Not exactly a pleasant smell, is it?

I had a family of skunks living under my stairs once- I had to negotiate with them to get up the stairs sometimes- they're really smart animals and they do have cute babies!

symphony, have you never seen a skunk in real life?
you should see their babies, so cute. i had a pair of skunks living under a playhouse in the back yard one summer. they'd come out every dusk and play, rolling around. very sweet.
when i was young, my cat snowball (one of the four) would sleep with skunks in the dog basket in the garage. never smelled once.

Whacky, we don't get many skunks where we are, in south of Oz,
in fact the only things that stink around here are the politicians........
