qutiepie58--no, never get tired of compliments. lol. really, thanks.
As in any writing, it takes time to write a compliment, take note of someone's work.  For that I thank u.

Loved this again....
You must be getting tired of hearing this from me, but what can I say, I really love your writing. It is explosive, dynamite, action filled with flair, grit, love, hate, sadness, foolishness, torment, loneliness, anger and abolishment. I have you on a very high pedestal, and know you will never fall down, and if you did, then I certainly believe you would not stop until you reached the top again. Great work. Thanks for all your support with your comments. I appreciate them until no end. Have a very Happy Easter .

Mademoiselle --thanks for the info on Miller. Very interesting.

He's pretty much universally regarded (at least where I come from) as the greatest of the graphic novelists.

Ever see the movie "Sin City"?  If not, you should ... because it's brilliant.  Plus, also, based on three of Miller's novels.

You can find out more about the man (and view his artwork) here:

Mademoiselle --call it the street walker phase. Frank Miller, I vaguely
remember reading.  Maybe I was influenced as I was with Henry Miller.

Streetwalkers (of one sort or another)

seem to appear a lot in your work.

You know, I've just figured out what your poems remind me of most: Frank Miller's graphic novels.  Because in both, there's that dichotomy between the raw subject matter and a certain (albeit esoteric) beauty.

It seems strange, because the mediums are (obviously) so different, but that's the feel I get.

Jack and Jill went up a hill
To fetch a pail of water
Jack got high
And opened his fly
And Jill said, "I don't wanna
."
