- Go to You Think You Have Everything?
Angel,
I never thought of it quite the way that you put it. Now you started me thinking about it, and I have to admit that you're right. Was it Brenda Lee who originally did that song? She had a sexy voice. I knew a Brenda once. Her family was a pack of squanks, but she was about as sweet as they come. We never had a chance to say more than nothings, except with our eyes. We left it that way on purpose. Everyone would have thought there was too much difference in our ages.
Sometimes nothings can be more something than somethings.

Reminds me of whispering "sweet nothings" in your ear...
"Shh, nothing, nothing, nothing...." Isn't it romantic?

Whacky,
When I read your comment, I had to go back and read the post again. I first asked myself, ''What...what...WHAT?'' At that point I had to reread to try to figure it out. Then I came back to reply to your comment and could only think ''What the WHAT?''
I guess what I was talking about was what nothing is (or maybe isn't). But now what I am thinking is only ''WHAT?'' Sorry if I left you as confused as I now find myself. When I started on the post, I thought I had something to say about nothing, but now I realize that it is not possible to say something about nothing that goes beyond nothing.
I have a lot more to say on that. Or is that possible? Maybe it has something to do with the riddle that Mademoiselle left. I can think of nothing more.

Mademoiselle,
I'm afraid you've got me on that one. Has it got anything to do with Oprah?

I have a riddle for ya:
The poor have it, the rich need it, and if you eat it,
you'll die. To what am I referring to?
"birthday girl (unofficially)"
