Indeed so. I thought Mel Smith was more believable than Mr Dalton?

Thanks for your comment. I haven't read 'Curtain' but will look it out.

I think the actor will have been David Suchet who has pretty well made the TV role his own in recent times; Peter Ustinov was pretty good in the films but, I always thought, Peter Ustinov first and Poirot second.

There were certainly a few 'faces' in it too, Malc.

I have to tell you that your writing was mesmerizing. I haven't seen denouemont used in quite awhile. It's good to read quality writing.

Hi
Not having seen the Miss Marple series you're referring to, I probably shouldn't comment but I do think that it's a little strange for Miss Marple to have a mischevious grin in her eye. I do prefer reading the books to watching movies. Have you ever read "Curtain" by Agatha Christie? In my mind it's her best.

Everyone loves a good mystery.
I used to watch Poirot (spelling?) I thought the guy who played him was great.

Malcolm: I need to read more Agatha Christie
I've seen a few of the movies, such as Murder on the Orient Express and Death On The Nile. I read Curtain, which was very interesting.
You just gave me an idea...i wonder if it is time for a remake of those? They are still wonderful stories! LOL...uh-oh...watch out...now I've been inspired!
