I've had one story published, and got $10 for it and another $10 tip. I'm not leaving my day job yet!But then, I quit submitting because I had to sellthe rights on the one I had published, meaning I can' use it ever again. Most of my stories are going somewhere as soon as I get the "body of work" assembled, so I'm happy to use blogit for practice. The more you write the better you write. Andit's important for me people feel things from what I write. If my emotions come through a piece, nostalgic, angst pain and sorrow, or sheer happiness. to romance or inspiration, then I met my goal. Plus it is a way to get feedback, make friends, get some connections or networking, ideas of what works, what doesn't. Why reinvent the wheel. Just keep writing, 8-ball!!

I wouldn't say that "everyone" is concerned with the quality...
but I think all those who come here, should just be able to do what pleases them and not worry about how their writing is perceived. If we banned the amateurs, who'd be left? lol.
