If this was just a 'joke' then it is about as poor of taste as it gets and just shows how sick conservatives really are.
However, since it was very  clearly not presented as a moot.  Conservatives are putting these numbers out there are being 'fact', not as a joke.  Show me where in this post it felt like a joke?  Stop trying to pretend that all the conservatives knew it was a joke and were just getting a laugh out of it (And if they were, then they are truly racist and a great insult towards our country).  You can read the comments left here to see that it was not taken as a joke by either side.  It was false information being spread as is it were 'fact' because people were not doing the research on it.

Where did you find those stats?
Sorry, but there is no possible way to know that shoplifting was down for a day in any way shape or form.  That kind of information is 100% pure propaganda.

No, I don't think...
Rich Americans should feel guilty for using them because they shouldn't have been here in the first place to be used.  They chose to come to this country illegally.  They stole entrance into this country and they chose to go to work under the table.

You accuse the "Rich Americans" for using them but my guess is that some of those people felt they were doing something to be compassionate and give them work.  I'm not saying all of them did it for altruistic reasons but it's a two way street.

And, even if they have been used, that doesn't excuse shoplifting.  I think it's real easy to say "Oh, let's feel sorry for these people for stealing from our stores because they are poor."  Well, let me clue you in.  Right now, I'm making $150 a week base and having to get help from my family and do odd jobs to make ends meet but I don't go into people's stores and take what I want off the shelf.

I have compassion but that doesn't mean I excuse stealing.  And, I'm sure those retailers whose stats say the shoplifting went down 67% that Monday aren't feeling sorry for the thieves who steal from them on a daily basis.

And, one more thing.  Who do you think pays for all of that shoplifting?  We do!  The shoplifters don't care that the things they steal cause prices to go up because they don't pay in the first place.  But it causes people like me to have to pay even higher prices and makes it even more difficult for me to afford to buy things like food.  So, again, I want the illegals out of this country!

Kind of sad that those statistics are even a fact of life. Some of the wealthy Americans that used those people should feel some guilt don't ya think?

What a hoot! I would be interested to know the source of those stats.

But evidently, if they're all marching in the streets, they are certainly not shoplifting stores.

Good one!
