Mrs. Shumacher is haunting it at this very moment. Either get rid of it or don't go to sleep! She's gonna get you.

How do you spell "Quelle tragedie?" , Mademoiselle?
I never studied french, but it was a phrase that my Russian professor, Fruim Yurevich, used to use very ironically.

I suppose so, Blanche ...
Though I have found that one girl's brilliant material may often
be a horrible family tragedy in the eyes of her mother.

Too much material is not a bad problem to have, Mademoiselle,
Well, unless, by "material" you mean some horrible family tragedy. That no one needs. The gnome out Mrs. S's backyard, though, that's brilliant.

Mademoiselle, Hello? Hello?
I gather from your last post that you lived to get in trouble for your adventure. That's a good sign. Anyway, I wait for the Gnome Story, the creepy boy who saved you from bad hair and what happened with your mother. Great suspense.

You know, you probably could just
get on a Ouja board and file for custody. That way, you wouldn't have to worry about a late night trip into the surreal.
On the other hand, death defying sojourns are far more fun.

I'm not really "stealing" per se, sassyass ...
because I plan to (eventually) return it. Or, at least, sell it and then give the proceeds to charity.
Some of this will make a little more sense, after I conduct my experiment. And post my findings.

Madamoiselle
I believe in ghosts and you better look out! My daughter's house is haunted by a benign presence, a workman holding a yellow construction helmet under his arm, who comes and goes through a closet! He first appeared as my granddaughter was doing her homework. She screamed and ran out of the room! She was hysterical but his appearances now have become routine! No one pays any attention anymore! Poor ghost...
