Actually, I sent it on Saturday (I believe).

It was some anemia info from my uncle (who's a physician).

Hi, Mademoiselle,
From the looks of these comments, I'd say Jack's in pretty good company.  Also, I didn't get an email yet, but sometimes my email is slow.  I'll probably have it in my inbox tomorrow.  I have the same issue with my mobile phone sometimes... late voice mails, etc.  Wonderful technology for you.  :)

Perhaps I should hold a contest to choose one, Corbin.

Does he have a
"Gnome de Plume"

Okay, Rumored ...

That makes two sightings then.

While you guys are at it, you might want to keep your eyes out for Bigfoot, as well.  I think he lives up north, too.

He's adorable, isn't he, Marshall?

Maybe so, Wiley.
I'll pass your tip on to the proper authorities.

 everyone jokes about that

I was just joking about that, actually, Azur ...

I couldn't care less about my ranking.

In fact, I probably couldn't even tell you what mine was at the moment.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Mademoiselle
Yes, I see.  I suppose I should think about something that doesn't sink in the ratings either but it would  not carry me over my "sabbatical".

Fortunately, having been No.1 several times in a previous incarnation I am past caring.

Cool!
Perhaps, I can get a lifetime supply of E.L.Fudge in exchange for his safe return.

uhhhh….Mademoiselle…..I’m sorry to break this to you but I don’t think that that is a gnome…..it looks like a Keebler elf to me…..making this a FAR more serous offense......Samhain_Moon

That later date is nearly nigh, Azur ...
Because, sadly, I won't be online very much tomorrow ... and thus, I need to post something significant to avoid sinking in the ratings.

That's right, Cesium,

I should demand a ransom!

Um, I mean, whoever has him should.

I drove past several like this earlier
I'll look forward to the full details at a later date

Travelocity might be willing to pay someone for the gnome

But that's precisely what would make Mexico such a great hiding place, Talion!

As far as gnomes being able to swim, I'm not really sure.  However, it has been my experience that they are excellent pool players.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 15, 2006 at 9:29 PM | link to this | reply

I say leave the little guy alone. Look at that smile. You can't force a grin like that under duress. However, if I did look for him, it wouldn't be in Mexico. Do gnomes swim? How's he going to get across the Rio Grande? Everybody knows nobody leaves America for Mexico anyway. Why bother? In a couple years, there's not going to be anyone left there.

Jack is a weird guy, BlackPearl.
Btw, did you get my email?  Only reason I ask is that I've been having trouble with Juno.

Well, just keep your eyes peeled, Whacky.

See, fourcats, this blog is highly educational.

Although, actually, you may be right.  I was just sort of guessing as to the ethnicity.

Mademoiselle,
Just laughing at all the funny comments.  Nothing to add, but thoroughly amused, especially about the NSA comment.  :)

There's a local effort underway to try to get John Walsh on the case, Blanche.

Maybe, he'll get to the bottom of it.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 15, 2006 at 4:07 PM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle,
I know who this guy is and what's going on, but I am not at liberty to discuss details.  It has to do with national security.  I can only tell you that you should be very cautious in all of your dealings in this matter.  NSA is like a pack of wild dogs.  You can hide, but you can't run.

Maybe the gnome wanted to leave the country?

as well as the extremely attractive young woman with the Russian-sounding name, who may or may not have had anything to do with the alleged abduction.
