- Go to What the President’s Speech on Immigration Didn’t Address
Scoop, great insight as always.
Anyone who wants to pin this on Bush is dishonest and/or ignorant.

Glenn, ILLEGAL immigration has been a thorny issue . . .
since the 1960s when immigration policy was liberalized. Having lived in central California for 30 years, I am intimately familiar with how thorny it is.
Question for you: Please explain IRAQ<IRAQ::::::: Iraq is less than Iraq??
???????????

Take heart, FW . . .
I will criticize Fox News, the President and anyone else when I think they've screwed up. Just like you would, albeit with radically different criteria.

Actually none of the networks really gave it much,
I bounced around trying to see what they had to say, I think they had their minds made up, 6,000 troops on a 2,000 mile border is nothing more then appeasing a few it is not really taking the bull by the horns. I will say this, the border fiasco is not Bush's problem, he did not create it. It is a republican/democrat problem that has spun out of control over the years. It is like the social security issue, it has been around a long time and every president has addressed it but done nothing, now all of the sudden, "What we gonna do!"

WriterofLight,
When did immigration become a "thorny" issue?? Answer that question first! Then we can move on to the "real" facts about this criminal administration!
