Whacky one...
So...that was you dog eh? Good job! I live in the country and they put my paper in a yellow plastic paper box that hangs under my other "mail" box, so the birds can't get to it. I may be in trouble though. The other day a bird landed on the hood of my car and was about to leave his "calling card". I yelled at it. Bird flew. Do you think I need professional help? (be nice)

in an effort to save some trees i gave up having the paper delivered.
then the world of computers opened up for me and i get my news way faster than a paper could ever deliver. even faster than the tv. i remember one day a friend and i were watching tv and a blurb came on for feature stories for the evening news later that day. one of the story lines piqued our interest (death of two rookie cops by ambush) so we search engined it and voila! didn't have to watch the news. we already knew what they were going to say and more than they were going to say as well because as we all know, stations and papers are slanted. the computer posting gave a much more complete story.
but good luck in your fight against the bird flu. try not to obsess or you'll be hosing down the driveway, the rain gutters, you'llbe knocking nests out of trees, OH MY GOD THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!, IT'S THE BIRDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Our paper gets left in a mail box on the other side of the road, Whacky, but they dive bomb me as I go to get it. There is no escape.

Hi Whacky,
You are too funny! LOL.
They sure do. After all, birds do their business on papers at an hour when most of us are still in dreamland.

This is a funny post.
I don't know whether you are paranoid in a serious or light-hearted manner. But I did feel amused reading your paranoia. So it made it think that you are not seriously paranoid.
Thank you for writing this interesting blog.

I think you've become a bit paranoid about the bird flu.
Although I did read that the US is using Spy satellites to track infected birds.

Sometimes, my neighbors get to my paper before I do. And humans spread flu more than the birds too.
