Maybe the house should have been part of a revokable trust.
To keep it in the family. Hope you still can.

Thanks Wiley
You are the light at the end of a long tunnel. Your right I didn't think of it that way but I still can't see the house sold to someone else.

Unfortunately, your dad and brother are adults. Your dad gave him the house, it's now your brother's to do with as he pleases.
Parents have to learn that at times, no, is an appropriate answer to our children. (After 9 kids, I have some experience luv)
Try and look out for you, love your dad but don't take responsibility for his actions luv

I agree I hope my dad gets the loan from the bank and can buy the house before someone else does.

Passionflower,
I don't think he is all behind it, his wife has no soul just dollar signs every where. The only reason she wanted children was because she found out you get money from the government for having them.

I hear you and (Abby) but still it's not really his house. My dad gave it to him to get back on his feet he had a family to take care of and promised he wouldn't sell. Anyways if he already bought a house why didn't he give it back to my dad who is renting.

A-ball, your anger is understandable.
This is infuriating.

That situation is certainly beyond awkward ...
However (according to Dear Abby), once the house was handed over to your brother, it became entirely his. And therefore, he is perfectly entitled to do with it as he pleases. No one else has any say in the matter.
I picked up my bag, I went lookin' for a place to hide;
When I saw Carmen and the Devil walkin' side by side.
I said, "Hey, Carmen, come on, let's go downtown."
She said, "I gotta go, but my friend can stick around."
