It should not surprise you that being an atheist does not preclude having a strong spiritual element in one's nature. My choice of the name Ariel was no coincidence.

Beautiful. Fiction! Let us suppose for one moment the writer did not have the dream; the writer knows there are voices. The writer understands guardian angels. (6,000) are assigned each of us at our proper call. Yet he does not believe. The story is almost easier for me to accept as fiction than the writer's non-religious claims. Either way is okay it is just that the essence of belief if pervasive in some areas of your work. That is a lovely story even with all the sadness.
