Hi, FARSAILOR,
A nice poem to help jar one's perspective. It's a bit reminiscent of the themes I found in "All Quiet on the Western Front". Thanks. :)

Not to sound condescending at all but I like how you play make believe at work. I just daydream about what it's like outside.

Death comes to us all, yet some feel it ,smell it closer than others. To keep it at bay yet look it in the face and scream at it in defiance takes courage. I am not sure I would have that courage, I have never had to find out thank god! Beautiful moving and thought provoking piece. May you always be protected.

one can only imagine that life.
"but by the grace of god, go I"
To all those world war 1 and world war 11 soldiers, who did live that life for so many years.
And for the current people who serve in the forces, to protect our freedom, fight, that we may live our lives in relative peacce and freedom.
