Ariel...thank you, but I am closer to you in mind and spirit when it comes
to writing. Writing is different from Blogging...and I love your writing! Max is quite older than I; he was thrilled to discover that I know much of the music from the forties and fifties...we dance in our living room to the strains of "Dancin Cheek to Cheek", "String of Pearls" , "Sweet Lorraine"...you know...all the good music!

Ariel70, from one "over-the-top" to another, this was a very interesting post. It is true that it is hard to live even one day without one idea or another attacking the mind. But, if I don't write it down at once, it may fly away just as quickly. LOL

Thank you.
Er .. have you got a Kevlar vest? I guess I'm gonna need full body armour after tomorrow's post, 'cos it's gonna ruffle a few feather, I bet.
Indeed yes, I hate that B word as much as you. Dave Cryer does too, and he came up with " Boondoggler" but it didn't catch on. Maybe we oughta get the old noggins working on a substitute???

Aha! So it was you who decided we live in the attic and basement of Spain. Nice one, and reading your comment, with its description of your home made me understand why you live there. I have spent time down in the basement. Hated the coast, loved the sierras. As to your last post...right on! The wonderful thing is that if you hadn't mentioned your age I'd have taken you for much younger - and perhaps there's a lesson in that for some people. Regarding the 'don't know what to write' folk, well I think maybe they are the real 'bloggers'. I find that word intensly annoying. I'm not blogging at the moment, I'm writing. I'm using my brain in order to say something in the best possible way. I've read most of your posts. You are a writer. You think like a writer, and you behave like a writer. Thank goodness! Writing, like any of the creative disciplines, is a process of continual learning about, and improvement of, the craft. There are those who blog, and those who write...whoaa there! Beginning to rant. My very best wishes to you.

You are right about the writing potential
in every situation

I was thinking along those same lines earlier this evening, messing about with an allen key - mental blogging

Keep on writing..and nice to see you drop in again. - I'll try the tips on avoiding the double-space.

I found a lot of interesting stuff about you in this post. It is such a mini-autobiography of you. I am very interested in Spain and had studied the language for a short time. I want to pick it up later.
I learnt that you are a British living in Spain. How could it happen that your fellow blogger live upstairs to you?
Wish you healthier and healthier.

Ariel70,
Out of the mouths of babes, as they say. What brave new world that hath such wonders in it (please correct me if I got that wrong, because I'm sure you know Shakespeare far better than I do).
I thought of you today as I was listening to a woman go off on the subject of Sephardic Jews and their trials and tribulations under Isabelle and Ferdinand. She has read a book (and yes, God save me from the person who has read ONE book on a particular subject, since they become an instant expert in tedious detail).
The good, the bad and the ugly is my way of looking at blogging, there are positives and negatives and trade-offs to everything. I feel the same way you do: I want to write every day, prime the creative pump, get something down before it's gone. There is a germ of an idea in every situation, and I credit blogging with helping me create a load of poetry that I would not have done otherwise. So, let's hear it for the blog, and yes, save us from the sighing of those who say they can't think of anything to write. Had I but world enough and time!

Oh such a classic case of the work of my Father. He has bestowed his preventient grace upon your life. There are no coincidences. The children were sent to show you about your calling. Do you think your dreams are of your making, I think not. Be blessed my friend, my father is smiling upon you.
