I often think it isn't surprising that writers get a bit egotistic. I mean, a writer's God. Create a world/s ; fill it with characters ; know exactly what every one's gonna do ; kill 'em off ; let 'em live. Such power.
It's a marvel that we're so shy, bashful and modest, isn't it?
