Hi, Azur,

Wow.  I have missed quite a bit of what's going on with you.  Thanks for catching me up.  I admit, I've never heard of the drug that you mentioned, but I'm glad it worked for you.  I wish I had wireless Internet.  And I'd like to give that blue ball blowing thing a try once.  Sounds like good lung exercise.  I guess I'm just a big kid at heart.  Your daughter found it quite challenging, did she?  Did she finally just give up?  And T.V. nowadays makes us so desensitized to real world drama.  I guess, in your son's case, that was a good thing, considering what you actually must have gone through.  Anyway, I'll say it again.  I'm glad you're recovering, and from the sounds of it, quite nicely.

Let's see.  What did  you miss with me?  Sorry, I got nothing.  I do hope you're not really planning a farewell.  You've been really kind to me and I enjoy reading your comments and those of  your posts that I have read.  Well, anyway.  Keep recovering.  Read you again, soon.  :)

Hey there, Azur!

I am glad to hear from you. Always the writer...you stuck it out to write a long, well written post even though recovering from surgery!

I hope your recovery is speedy and painless.

I hope you never need another one of those pills, too
I'm glad you're back, and appreciate the time and sweaty effort it must've taken to write this post.

Good to see you return, but sorry to hear you've been under
Take care Azur, a fast and complete recovery wished.

I, too, went under for surgery a couple years back. They gave me a
morphine drip.  I used it once.  It worked too well and scared the hell out of me.  Anyway, glad to see you have resurfaced.  Write on.

Azur
I agree with littlemspickles.  The fact that you had the courage to write this post is amazing.  Here's to many, many more.  Welcome back to insanity, Azur.

Azur, nice to see you back, though it must have been difficult to type
this...Please recover swiftly and don't stay gone too long...don't we need to argue about something again soon?

azur - i hope things are looking better now
preferably without the drugs - but hey, when you need them you need them. Nice to see you back around here and amazed that you had the time and patience to write up that post!

Azur!
It is so good to read you (nice headline, I love it!).  I watch House every week, curmudgeonly doctor who's brilliant but an ass, saves the day.  Well, I hope you keep making those little blue balls rise, much faster next time.  Yes, certain things do put a keener perspective on the big picture, don't they?  I hope you'll follow Cher's example and keep the farewell tours coming!

Azur, I didn't realize that you were back until just now.   I am so glad that you are able to correspond with us now even if you must rest in between.   Please keep getting better and stronger.   Welcome back.

Something that touched me
on a tv show I seldom watch, maybe NCIS -- a navy saying (maybe a form of blessing)  that seems to apply.  Here's wishing you a fair wind and a following sea...

Welcome back...
even if it's just once in a while...  Here's wishing you good drugs, delicious food, steady improvement, and a return to boring normal...

Well, you must be bored! Sorry about the side effects.

How silly will you think yourseslf in a month or two for blogging NOW? At least you're coherent...

Take the week off!

Must be hard on your
children to see you in so much pain. I remember my son being extremely disturbed after I had surgery and my eyes were swollen shut.  I'm so sorry you're having to go through this.  And here I thought you were canoodling with rockstars.  Not this week.  Take care and get well soon.

Oh, I'm so sorry ...

I figured from your previous post that this wasn't going to be something insignificant.

Hopefully, you won't be leaving permanently ... will you?

I mean, you'll (at least) leave the door open to a return?
