Saul Relative, I felt the same way as I watched the teens spelled these
words, know their meanings, origins etc., with hardly any hesitation at all!

I know three of them and pride myself on a fairly large vocabulary.
What I found most disconcerting was that 1) I don't believe I have ever seen any of those other words, and 2) couldn't begin to figure out what they meant by trying the root, suffix, and affix trick. Demoralizing.

RckyMtn, I wrote the words down so fast, because unbelieveably
the two finalist, both girls by the way, spelled them so fast, I hope I did not misspell some of them!
