I turn my keyboard upside down and use a small brush.  If that doesn't work, I place a dog biscuit on it and Samantha licks it all clean and ....as you say, sticky.

Whacky---I also have a problem with the keyboard of my office
PC. I don't know how to clear out the dust of the crevices. Luckily the one of my home portable computer does not give me this problem.

Whacky,
Well, even if you aren't getting so sticky sweet that you're leaking on your keyboard, I loved this.  Not to mention useful tips below about cleaning keyboards. Although, I'm not sure I'd stick one in the dishwasher.

Hi, Whacky,
I haven't a clue what to tell you to do, but I see you've gotten some pretty good tips, so far.  I'm sure I might need to use them in the future.  Good post.  I'm glad to be enlightened about keyboard maintenance.  Thanks.  :)

Whacky...
Carefully unplug the keyboard after shutting down you computer.  Put the keyboard in the diswasher, then go to circuit city and get a new one!  Seriously, a damp cloth should do the trick.

Oh Yes
we have to clean our keyboard like every week. The rule is no food or drink around the computer, but you know kids they only hear what they want to hear. That goes for the other kid as well (husband).

When I bought this keyboard, I noticed that it was water resistant. I use alcohol preps on my keys, if they get nasty.

I use white spirit on a tissue. Keyboards have a sealed plastic sheath under the keys, so anything spilt on them is unlikely to cause problems.

I kid you not...
I am told by computer guru Husband John that keyboards can be cleaned thoroughly by putting them in a dishwasher and running them through the cycle.

I thought he was joking, but he says his computer boss does it to his keyboard and that it's a great way to clean it.  Afterwards, the keyboard is allowed to dry completely before being connected again.
