Hope so, Una ...
I'm getting tired just from answering these comments, though ... and that certainly isn't a very good sign.

Actually, fourcats, I'm rooting against the Mavs ...
If solely on principle (my brother's idol is Dirk Nowitzki).

I appreciate the support, Cesium ...
Though it won't be necessary. Through my illness,
yet another of my boyfriend's rather peculiar fetishes was revealed.

I'm not ready to part with him yet, however. Even for the sake of science.

Actually, Blanche, an egg creme is a drink.
It's kinda like a chocolate milkshake ... only better.

You, my dear, are too cynical to be on your death bed. May I suggest, with
all those fluids, you throw in a dollop or dozen of rum or your favorite liqueur? Unless it conflicts with any medication you may be taking, it is quite medicinal in and of itself -- it relaxes, it soothes, it makes those around you so much more interesting than they really are, and, inevitably, it sedates. Just a suggestion.

Surely, were he expecting me to croak, he would already be out searching for my replacement.
Nah I told him if he ever lets you get away I'll kick his ass and enlist him in Bush's army. Glad you're feeling good enough for a post. Get some more rest.

Mademoiselle,
I hope that the fact that your Mom and brother are being very attentive isn't really a sign of impending doom on your part. Hey, take the creme doughnuts when you can get them. If your boyfriend really is out looking for your replacement, maybe he could do as Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson did in Wedding Crashers.
