Here is another photo to bring you a smile and add to the cute collection already here. It is tough to go through a move.. I left my home of 25 yrs. a few years ago and although I made the right decision, I still miss being there sometimes.

Big changes require a lot of energy
It will take a while to settle in too. It is 2 years today since I made my last big move.
Like you, I did not leave because everything was bad with my old life. Much of it was great and a part of me will always mourn that.

At least you don't have kids to lug along. I moved to North Carolina from Shreveport by myself, and it was hard. But, I enjoyed relaxing after it was over with.

I'd heartily recommend doing something nice for yourself right this minute,
whatever strikes your fancy. My personal fave is hot chocolate, bubble baths, good music, hot tea. The little things have helped me a lot

I feel for you. Even though crying can be emotionally draining, though, it can be releasing. I don't know the whole story here, but it sounds like this is a long distance move. I hope you can get help with the big pieces of it.
