Which part is literal, Ariel? That Oscar Wilde would be after your heart?
I found a book on eponyms yesterday, I was going to post some, but Gideon and I looked them over and they're disappointing, they don't look like true eponyms after all.

One of my favourite Wildeisms, is his remark on reading of the death of Dickens's Little Nell.
" One would have to have a heart of stone not to laugh!" Delicious!

Oscar Wilde sure was prolific, Ariel, he said a lot of things,
As I've said before, some I take with a grain of salt. Especially anything he had to say about marriage, as he so obviously had other inclinations, so what would he know?

I like that "patience on a monument smiling at grief"
well, what can you do, but keep writing. I await further sequels.

Today, I am, thanks. But it waxes and wanes, comes and goes. Sometimes I feel like " ... Patience on a monument, smiling at Grief"

I have a feeling that all does not go well with Candelas and Juan,
but don't give it away. It's just a feeling.

Are you kidding? I'm riveted.
This is so much like, yet better than the stories I loved to read as a kid.

Blanche again
It's such a pleasure to let one's imagination run riot in a story like Candelas. And delight that it comes so easy!
And an even bigger delight that it's so appreciated. There's quite a bit more to come too.
