Passionflower...I believe man, in human form, has the capacity,
but doesn't really have the know how.
Like Jesus, as a human, had the know how.
He understood the workings of the universe and what it takes for everyone to live in unconditional love.
It's just that for the rest of us, it's harder to get, and taking longer to accomplish, but I think we will get there.

God is definitely pure energy. He's a spirit-being but on the
Highest level. I don't believe man has the mental capacity to totally 'understand' God. That's where faith comes in. We have to believe that he exists and that he wants nothng but good and blessing for his children.
I saw a program recently about Oral Roberts. When he first began his ministry, he would have big tent meetings where many would get healed of all kinds of sickness and disease. It was very unusual for the day and time which I believe was the 1950's.
But these were bonafide miracles that could be proven by doctors. Even so, his ministry always got alot of criticism -controversy followed him everywhere.
But the ONE thing that people and the media MOST objected to was the fact that he would say that God was a good God and that he wanted to bless his people.
Imagine people getting bent out of shape over that.

Yes, very awesome!
I can't say I've ever been that alone, but I can imagine how great it must feel to be connected with noone else around.

Thanks for your comment.
I view God a little differently than most, but the way I view God, he is never "left out of the equation", as he is anything and everything we can see, hear, smell, taste and touch.

Sunnybeach, Lovely thoughts that you have here. Spirituality has as many meanings as there are people in this world. Everyone has their own unique concept of it. To me, spirituality has no meaning whatsoever if God is left out of the equation.

This is correct. Thanks for your comment.
Though my views are a little different from yours, as I don't really view that creator, like some people do....like a being.
I see the creator as being more like an energy source...if that makes sense?

This sounds like New Age teaching.
There is some truth to what you say but there is also a Creator or else there wouldn't BE any grass, clouds, fields of green, etc.
Imagining that our planet and all the species on it just appeared out of nowhere is tantamount to believing that a Cadillac convertible will appear in your driveway in the morning. Or a house filled with all the beautiful furnishings you've ever dreamed of will suddenly fall out of the sky tomorrow with your name on it.
Things don't appear out of nowhere and nothing. Therefore, there IS a Creator. I believe we're created in his image and that we are all connected to him. In him is ALL of the Wisdom of the Universe and the answer to every mystery.
Just my opinion though.

Beautiful post, Justi. Spirituality is about more than the mechanics
of religion.

You made an important comment on my blog and I replied. I wanted to be sure you saw the reply. I have copied it and here it is. Thank you.
Sunny
Thank you for your comment. I also understand clearly what you are saying. Did you see that I specifically pointed to those Blog names and posts that can hardly be anything but derogatory to Christians. They are simply insulting to one's moral comfort. To have someone come on your blog and comment that all those commenting on there are fools is unmistakably insulting. No these things are not a point of perspective, they are intentional. How can anyone in the world see white as black and black as white. Color blindness does not cover those areas. I would never create a Blog that said something directly offensive about any other religion or of a non-believer. It is my feeling that your faith or lack thereof is of extreme importance and I do not make light , angry or ugly about it. You have the option to see things any way you want but I would not call you an ignorant fool for any reason, I would hope you would not do that to me. That has been done to me three times in two days on here. Not because it is a fact. But because they simply didn't believe like I believe. What do you think that is?

Thanks, and yes. I see so many doctors that my BP is checked usually at least twice a month.
Unless I go out and drink mostly unsweetened iced tea, I drink water all of the time...and lots of it! So I know I'm pretty well hydrated. I'd have to be, I'm always thirsty and drinking water.

SB7, Checked for BP? That was my cure. I'm hydrating and getting rid of
water and my BP is actually normal. My energy is back, and my legs are responding -- but best when I'm drinking lots of water and walking! Hope you get better soon.

I'm hoping. I've been to many different types of doctors and had all kinds of tests. Next step is a nerologist. And again, I'm hoping there will be answers.
Whatever is wrong with me causes muscle weakness, especially in my legs, amoung other things.
A lot of it I've recently wrote about here...
http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/Sunnybeach74759/Before I had my son and started having all these problems, I was doing fairly well, trying to work my level up to be able to run, even if only for a short period of time.

I think I'm in need of some B vitamins myself.
I'm not able to walk much due to illness at this time, but years back, me and my daughters father used to drive to the park after dinner every day and walk for a couple miles.
It was really peaceful, except for the traffic, but at least the maximum speed was 25mph.
We've often seen deer and other critters during these walks.

Lol. I hope that never happens to any of you!
People don't realize how connected they are to everything. It's so awesome if you can just stop and take a moment every now and then to reconnect yourself.
Thanks for reading

Do you read Ayn Rand?
She's introduced the idea of Objectivism, which is a lot like what you have described. If you haven't read her already you'd like her. Pick up "Atlas Shrugged" for sure. But "The Fountainhead" is a quicker read to get started.

sunnybeach7, Very few think as deeply as this about anything
much less their spirituality. In my AA group we say, careful not to get so spiritual that you float right outta here and into the bar next door. It can get iffy!
