That was fantastic!
I would have to disagree with you there about your so-called lack of description - I think you put just enough in to whet our appetites. It also allows the reader to take in more of the story and elaborate any missing details in their own minds. In a way, your descriptions are more meaningful - especially in this genre as you pack a punch with so few words!
PS. Thanks for visiting and dropping by my blogs - I've been busy, so haven;t had a chance to comment before now.

Thanks for the compliment. A lot was said in very few words with underlining meaning.

I was really in the graveyard when this story evolved. I find older graveyards interesting in a morbid way.One tombstone belonged to a kid and it had these words...'Papa, I'm going to sleep' Is that creepy? Have a great weekend Angie.

Odd Humor, Yet Funny
I agree with one of the others, do not steal from the dead! I think this relates to the walking dead who have lost the zest for life and in existing find self alerted by fears that actually lead to death!!

Cute story it reminds me of a story about
a gril that was caught walking around the dead in a grave yard and sje felt something grab her leg and she died right there on the spot, when they found her, they ruled her death, killed by fear of a tree lim. that's what was grabbing her leg. It couldn't get any more morbitly funny then that. lol. ~Silly

Here you are, ThomasFranklin. It happened somewhere between 1965 and 1975. Everything that I have written is true except that I can't remember the names of the two mean ladies and "Henry" is not his real name.

ThomasFranklin, I have a very macabre, but true, story of death in a graveyard. I'll have to write a post about it. Your story here brought it to my mind.
