I have to disagree, there are relationships that prevent lonliness,
being a single mother is one of them, you don't have much time to be lonely. You fight just to have time to yourself.

I Think There is a Difference Between Lonely and Alone Time
I use time alone to reflect and get in touch with inner self. Being lonely is often not by choice and it conveys an inability to be alone with self. I understand your view.

It depends on how the individual handles it. I have many single friends who are too busy to be lonely. Lol.

loneliness
I felt very lonely when married, maybe it takes a lot to make me happy, as I am in a lonely relationship now
