Ariel, I missed who wrote this piece, the inspiration for your Candelas
blog, which is satisfyingly tragic and romantic.  Juan will never be the man he once was, I'm sure, which is how love ought to be: leave a mark.

Ariel,

a marvellous poem! You are a romantic, and you have the romantic's power of imagination!

On occasion I indulge myself in the ars poetica, the most recent one being a 'Shakespearean Sonnet' I wrote and posted for Valentine's Day. If you should take a look at it, I would welcome your opinion.

wow..as I read it I thought of Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde....

I wish I had your way with words.  When you write I think of a man who is speaking to the great love of his life.  You have a romance going with your words.
